In the begining of November, I hopped aboard Metrolink and headed up to the Los Angeles area for the day. Towards the end of the day, around 2 hours before my train departed, I hung around Union Station for some rush hour Metrolink and Amtrak trains. Subway, Metro Rail, Metro Link and Amtrak Trains are going through Union Station. This gives me a lot of opportunities to come to Union Station. Usually I am to busy to make a video about this historic building, but today I had time and I made a video. Los Angeles Union Station (LAUS) is the main railway station in Los Angeles, California and the largest railroad passenger terminal in the Western United States. It opened in May 1939 as the Los Angeles Union Passenger Terminal, replacing La Grande Station and Central Station.
